"Dryanoybaina",
is located in Portaria on
mount Pelion.
The old name of
Portaria (Byzantine
age) is "Ano Dryanoubaina".
Nowadays, after the
rearrangements by the "Kapodistria" law,
Portaria
became a municipality
along with the settlements
of Stagiates,
Katixori, and Alli
Meria.
Its total population is
over 3000 people,
and seems to have entered
a new age of development.
